Your Surgical Journey
Prior to surgery, we provide a comprehensive medical assessment, nutritional build-up, and counselling regarding your surgery and the best surgical options. You will have several consultations with both the surgeon and the specialist physician. The appointments are bulk billed, and a referral letter is recommended. We will also assist you with accessing superannuation funds when needed.
Post-surgery, we offer individualised aftercare at a specialist level. We stay in contact daily to monitor your progress, dressings, and activity. Our support includes guidance on nutrition, vitamins, compression garments, and dressings to ensure optimal wound healing and least noticeable scars. We rarely encounter bruising or wound infections, and we use minimalistic drains only after extensive tummy tuck surgery.

- The surgery is performed in a private hospital at very competitive rates, even if you do not have private health cover.
- The hospital stay is usually between 1-5 days, depending on the type of surgery and your recovery speed. It will be reduced, where possible, to a minimum to help keep the fees affordable.

- Our practice is unique in that we can schedule first-time patients for a dual consultation with both our surgeon and our bariatric GP, allowing you to receive a referral on the same day with no extra hassle.
We have bulk billed our consultations for over a decade and only charge for surgery, as we believe in providing high-quality care without pressuring you into financial decisions.
